Advisory Bureau for Higher Studies (ABHS)

The Advisory Bureau for Higher Studies (ABHS) was inaugurated in the year 1999. Ever since its inception, it is functioning as a separate wing with the prime notion to serve the student community for getting higher studies admission in India and abroad. ABHS has the latest information, books and CDs regarding GRE, TOEFL, GMAT, IELTS, GATE and CAT.

The main objectives of ABHS are to

      
1. Motivate more number of aspiring students to pursue higher studies in India and abroad.

      
2. Enable the students to excel themselves in the tests like GRE, TOEFL, GMAT, IELTS, GATE, CAT etc.

The main activities of ABHS are to

      
1. Provide information on various courses and admission requirements for higher studies.

      
2. Organize guest lectures and seminars to equip the students for pursing higher studies in India and abroad

SEMINARS AND GUEST LECTURES

ABHS organizes guest lectures and seminars which are handled by resource persons from IDP, USIEF, Cambridge University, British Council and other higher studies agencies to equip students for pursuing higher studies.

BUSINESS ENGLISH CERTIFICATE (BEC)

1. The Business English Certificate (BEC), a certification from Cambridge Assessment English, Cambridge University, is a qualification which is specifically in English for work

2. For the past nine years, BEC examination has been conducted by Cambridge in our college campus.

3. Our colleges have been awarded as a Best Preparatory Centre Award continuously for the past seven years for conducting BEC inside the campus by Cambridge.

4. In year 2018-2019 we have been awarded as “South Asia’s Best 25 Preparation Centers for Higher Education 2016-2018”.

CAMPUS COACHING CLASSES

For the benefit of the Hostel students, coaching classes for the qualifying examinations like GRE, TOEFL, GATE and CAT have been arranged in the campus itself.

ABHS FACILITIES

1. The interested students for pursuing higher studies can register as a member of ABHS in their second year onwards.

2. The registered ABHS members can avail all the facilities available in the ABHS free of cost.

3. In the beginning of every semester, an orientation session is being conducted to make them aware of the functioning and facilities of ABHS.

4. ABHS has infrastructure of about 10 lakhs, which includes systems, books and CDs for taking-up examination like GRE, TOEFL, GMAT, IELTS, CAT, GATE etc.

5. About 1,150 books and 100 CDs are available for the access of the students.

6. The students can avail on duty for attending the above mentioned tests as well as interviews related with higher studies.

7. The record of the alumni pursuing higher studies is maintained in ABHS.

8. The proof of admission obtained by the students in various universities is maintained.

9. All information related with higher studies is also maintained separately.
